About

Me

My name is Harry Roberts. I’m a web developer, a trials rider, a type geek, a writer and a blogger.

I’m 20 years old and live in the heart of Leeds, in the UK. I build websites, I ride bikes, and I torment my better half.

Work

I currently work at an exciting new startup called Venturelab. I work with several talented individuals that I am lucky enough to be able to call friends.

I am part of Venturelab’s development team where I work on front-end development, covering aspects such as usability, accessibility, progressive enhancement and mobile development to name but a few.

The @Venturelab team: @simonwiffen, @nofunnyname, @punch_n_pie, @JustinWhitston, @walshybhoy and @matt_heald.

Trials

In my spare time, I like to bounce about on a bike with no seat. It’s fun, honest.

Trials is something I’ve been ‘into’ for a while now, but I’ve only really started taking it seriously since I bought my new bike in early Spring 2010.

Trials is not like BMX at all! It’s a sport which involves navigating obstacles, but it has recently evolved to be a more casual group based pastime. It’s a great way to keep fit and meet new people.

If you’re interested to learn more I’d recommend Tribal Zine, Tarty Bikes and my ‘Trials‘ category here.
